NEW BALANCE 997/997R REVIEWS
In 2019 New Balance and Aime Leon Dore released a pair of 997s that was very well received. To celebrate their 5th year of working together, the two brands have released another 997, this time opting for an olive appeal. The Aime Leon Dore 997 'Dark Moss Angora' released on December 5 for $220 in the United States. Check out my in depth review including colorway, materials, quality, cushioning, sizing and comfort. On feet and lace swap included!
The New Balance 997R is a remodeling of an old New Balance shoe, the 997 which originally released in 1991 and has returned a few times since then. The 997R is already available in Europe, however, the official release date for the United States is still unknown. New Balance hopes to apply the remodeling magic to this shoe, similar to what they did with the 1906R and 2002R.
The 'Navy Arctic Gray' 997R is one of the first available colorways and I'm very impressed. Check out my in depth review including colorway, materials, quality, size and comfort. On feet footage included!
