The Jordan 2 'Black Cement' takes inspiration from one of the best Jordan 3 colorways and honors the 35th anniversary of the Jordan 3. This shoe originally appeared as a player exclusive that Michael Jordan wore in 1987 in a University of North Carolina alumni game. The 2023 Air Jordan 2 'H' Wings pays tribute to one of the founding figures of Jordan Brand. Howard 'H' White played a huge role in signing stars such as Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, Deion Sanders, and of course the GOAT Michael Jordan. Howard White's favorite quote was "Everyone Can Fly" which fits into the Nike's Wing's community impact program perfectly, and this shoe Jordan 2 (his favorite silhouette) contains references to his life.

The Air Jordan 2 'Cool Grey' released on May 4 for $175 as a women's exclusive and it received little to no attention. However, it really is one of my favorite sneaker pick ups of the year. It borrows one of the most popular colorways that the Jordan 11 made famous in 2001 and it works so well on the Air Jordan 2.
