The Air Jordan 2 'Cool Grey' Is Beautiful and Deserves More Love.
The Air Jordan 2 'Cool Grey' released on May 4 for $175 as a women's exclusive and it received little to no attention. However, it really is one of my favorite sneaker pick ups of the year. It borrows one of the most popular colorways that the Jordan 11 made famous in 2001 and it works so well on the Air Jordan 2.

The Air Jordan 5 'Craft' May Be The BEST Sneaker From the Craft Series.
The Air Jordan 5 'Craft' is yet another addition to the Craft series from Jordan Brand, and it may well be my favorite. This shoe is releasing on May 17 for $210 in the United States and it consists of a very unique canvas material.

The Air Jordan 4 'Thunder' Is Back After 11 Years.
The Air Jordan 4 'Thunder' first released in 2006 as part of the Lightning and Thunder pack, which featured two of the most expensive shoes at the time. The 'Thunder' returned in 2012 and on May 13 it's coming back again for $210. Made with an all black nubuck base layer, this release is said to be made as close to the original as possible. I missed out in 2006 and 2012 so I'm definitely glad to finally have the Air Jordan 4 'Thunder' in hand!

The Nike Air Max 1 'Mica Green' Defines BEAUTY IN SIMPLICITY. In Depth Review and On feet!
The Air Max 1 'Mica Green' released on April 14 for $150 in the United States and it is as simple of a shoe as you can get. This shoe is the definition of when keeping it simple can speak volumes, featuring a mesh nylon base layer with leather and suede overlays, there's little to no hype behind this shoe but it's one of my favorite recent pickups.
The Air Jordan 1 'Tokyo 96' Takes You Back In Time. In Depth Review and On Feet!
The Air Jordan 1 'Tokyo 96' released on March 23 first in Japan then eventually the rest of Asia. It's inspired by Michael Jordan's first trip to Japan in 1996 and while touring Tokyo, he played 1 on 1 with someone wearing a UNC uniform and Jordan Brand decided to tell that story through this shoe. The shoe comes with a light gray suede base layer with leather overlays, and a Swoosh inspired by the Air Jordan 12 (for good reason!).
The Air Jordan 13 'Black Flint' Is Inspired By An OG Colorway. And it's JUST SO CLEAN.
The Air Jordan 13 'Black Flint' released on April 22 for $200 in the United States and is reminiscent of an OG colorway, the Jordan 13 'Flint'. It has the same color blocking but replaces the blue with black and dare I say...I may like this better. I've always loved the materials on the Jordan 13 and it's one of the more comfortable Jordan Brand shoes.

The Air Jordan 3 'Wizards' Was A Michael Jordan Player Exclusive That's Releasing To The Public!
The Air Jordan 3 'Wizards PE' is set to release on April 29 for $210. Michael Jordan first wore this player exclusive shoe in 2001 when he returned to the NBA as a member of the Washington Wizards. Originally many thought he was wearing the Air Jordan 3 'True Blue', however, there were subtle differences such as the copper-gold Jumpman on the tongue instead of a red Jumpman.

The Air Jordan 1 'Washed Pink' Is Simply Beautiful.
The Air Jordan 1 'Washed Pink' released on April 22 for $180. I was lucky enough to get a SNKRS reserve pass so I could pick it up at my local Nike store on release day. As soon as I saw images of these months ago I knew I needed this shoe, and in hand these do not disappoint.

The Nike Dunk Low 'Setsubun' Will Probably Be My Favorite Dunk of 2023.
The Nike Dunk Low 'Setsubun' released on April 11 for $120, celebrating a Japanese tradition of throwing beans to keep away evil spirits. I've never been a big fan of Dunks but the storytelling and colorway of this shoe got me.

The Nike Air Foamposite One 'Penny PE' Was a Rare Player Exclusive That's FINALLY HERE!
One of the first and rare player exclusives from 1997 is back! The Nike Air Foamposite One 'Penny PE' released on April 7 for $240 and I had to grab a pair. Anyone who grew up in the 90s and was lucky enough to watch Penny Hardaway in his early prime would appreciate this shoe.

I Can't Decide If I Like The New Balance 9060 'Cherry Blossom'. In Depth Review and On Feet!
The New Balance 9060 'Cherry Blossom' released on April 1st for $150 but was already available at Hibbet mid-March. I never really liked the 9060 silhouette but decided to give it a go since I loved the colorway.

The Air Jordan 1 'Skyline' Had Potential...But It Flopped. In Depth Review, On Feet and Lace Swap!
The Air Jordan 1 'Skyline' is inspired by an iconic photo that led to the birth of the Jumpman logo, but there's a little bit more to the story than that.
This shoe never released on the SNKRS app or Nike.com, but they released at big retailers and neighborhood Nike stores for $180. With such a great story behind the shoe I had high hopes, but there's a good reason they're sitting at many stores.
Nike Air Foamposite One 'Doernbecher' IN DEPTH REVIEW and on feet!
The 2023 Nike and Doernbecher collaboration released on February 25. The shoe I was able to get from that collection was the Nike Air Foamposite One 'Doernbecher' which dropped for $250 in the United States. Designed by 11 year old Coley Miller, this shoe is inspired by her heritage as part of the Klamath tribe.

The Air Max 1 Corduroy 'Baltic Blue' is a nice shoe...it's just not for me. Review and lace swap!
The Air Max 1 Corduroy 'Baltic Blue' released in the United States for $160 on March 17. Despite never loving corduroy sneakers I decided to give this shoe a chance. Objectively, this is a nice shoe with good materials and attempts something different. Subjectively, this shoe isn't for me.

The Air Jordan 12 A Ma Maniere 'White Burgundy' is nice in photos...but even better in person.
The A Ma Maniere Air Jordan 12 'White and Burgundy' is the second shoe from A Ma Maniere's most recent collaboration with Jordan Brand. They dropped on March 2nd for $225 and just like the Black and Burgundy pair, these are even better in hand.

The Air Jordan 23 'Year of the Rabbit' is my FAVORITE SNEAKER of 2023 so far.
The Air Jordan 23 'Year of the Rabbit' was part of Nike and Jordan brand's 2023 Lunar New Year collection, however, it never released in the United States. Luckily I have family across the world and they were able to come through for me.
